I'll be honest, I was burnt out.

I'd done Community Mental Health, Hospitals, Private Practices, Online...

I felt like a horrible employee because I would get so frustrated at the processes and systems with all of the red tape. I could see the broken systems but I was limited in what I could do, even when I took on the supervisor role in a county community mental health office.

I left the field for a few years.

🔍 From Clinician to Operations Expert

While I kept up with a small caseload of telehealth clients, I completely pivoted and found myself working in customer service in a fully remote company that teaches entrepreneurs how to start, build, and grow online businesses.

As that role continued to grow and develop, I was free to improve systems and processes regularly!

I realized that it's kinda my jam! 😎

We went through personality testing and mine reflected my role as a mechanic, always tinkering and improving systems and processes.

Suddenly, it all made more sense.

Case Conceptualization has always been one of my favorite parts of being a therapist. I love getting to sift through all of the jumbled thoughts and symptoms and pull out the themes and concepts to start reorganizing it all in a way that my clients walk away with a deeper understanding of and grace for themeselves.

I learned that I love doing the same for businesses!
